It has taken 2,014 days, but I have finally hit my 50th deviation! For those that don't feel like doing the math, that is slightly over five and a half years. That is five and a half years of spurts of activities, and long periods of non-activity -- I cannot even claim that I posted something here every year, because I apparently missed all of 2007. Yikes!

It should go without saying that I am no longer the same person I was when I started my DA site, and it's really interesting to compare me at various points -- through the journal entries and I guess through my attempts at art over the years. I don't think I've every thought about my deviation number, that's always been a sort of minor statistic, but now that I've hit a solid number it simultaneously feels like a lot and very little. If you look at it as 5 or so years, that's only one piece per month -- slightly less, really. However, if you look it at the times I posted things, as I normally do so over short periods of time in sizable chunks, it is pretty astonishing.

Anyway, I don't expect anyone but myself to care about this, but those of you that have known me all this time -- I implore you to think about how our relationships have changed over the year, and how you yourself has changed too! Though, this is an empty call as we have all changed so much very few of you will ever know I even posted this, eh?

In any case, shout-outs to ~ShiroMakoto and, really, all the DBA crew (as well as all of my followers and friends) are certainly in order! You guys are/have been awesome!
